About Me

Hi, my name is Sanaa, I was eight years old and in third grade when I started my blog. I’m vegetarian and I love to travel. I’m the youngest in my family so I’ve seen less, but I love traveling just as much. I have been near and far, but my favorite places so far are NYC, London, Singapore, and France (Paris, Champagne). My favorite food is falafel, my favorite colors are blue, white, and black, and I love to read and build Legos.

 

I love traveling because you get to experience things that can’t be explained with words and see things that can only truly be seen by the naked eye and not through the eyes of a camera.  For example, I had seen many pictures of the Statue of Liberty but when I saw it myself I was surprised by how huge it really was and I saw details I had never noticed before like the date on the book in her hand or that she is stomping on chains. When I travel to different places, I get to experience different foods, cultures, and languages; I learn different things and taste different things that I couldn’t taste or learn at home.

 

I started this blog because I have had some of my favorite experiences while traveling and I want to inspire other families and children to enjoy travel and have their own experiences.

I love reading and I believe that every kid should have the privilege to read. Any proceeds from any purchases you make following the links in my blog will go to a charity called PageAhead that provides books to kids who can't afford books. Thank you for your support.
